If God should ask

 If God should ask where I would go,

when that time comes to leave this earth.

I would say Cades Cove Oh Lord.

Surely you must know it well.

A place of beauty, peace, and quiet.

A valley rimmed with mountains round

and fertile soil to nurture all.

I would gladly rest in this quiet place

if God should ask where I would go.  q
